Wow. I have to write about his. Today I saw one of the best shows on TV I have seen in years. Much the reason why I don't bother with TV drama these days. BUT!! BBC1 8.30pm 07.11.05 Much Ado About Nothing by Nicholls. A tale of love and deception in the studios of Wessex Tonight captured my heart.
With all the hype recently criticising the lack of imagination and flare on TV shows, especially targeting series like Footballers Wives (I have to agree though!) this show was a valiant attempt. Ever engaging, embracing incessant emotions and ideas of Shakespeare, 'Much Ado About Nothing' modern style interpretation by the BBC served him justice. Thoroughly enjoyed, well done!
